Mines, oil and gas operations, telecoms sites and contractors across Africa rely on diesel when the grid is weak or missing. Diesel plants are fast to deploy, easy to move and supported almost everywhere. The challenge is fuel cost, so the best plants are designed from day one to run efficiently and to make room for gas or hybrid power later.
What USP&E delivers
- Feasibility studies that size the plant to your real load profile.
- New and used diesel gensets from USP&E inventory.
- Engineering, procurement and construction under one contract.
- Long-term operations and maintenance with local teams.
Plan your exit from diesel
Diesel works well as bridge power while gas, a turbine or the grid arrives. Design the site so the gensets can move to standby duty later. Read our guide to diesel bridge power to gas turbines and HFO-to-gas transitions.
